Back to Balance

Our Back to Balance is specifically designed to counteract the "slump" of modern life and the wear and tear on our spines as we age. It focuses on spinal health, postural correction, and core stability. This is a structural, alignment based practice that moves beyond surface level exercise to find stability from the inside out. We focus on the deep stabilizing muscles of the core and the functional alignment of the spine to help you stand taller, breathe deeper, and move without discomfort. By blending gentle strengthening with targeted decompression, we wring out tension and bring your body back into its natural, healthy center

Therapeutic Note: Perfect for beginners and anyone managing chronic back stiffness or postural imblances.

Chair Yoga RX

Yoga is for every body, regardless of age or physical limitation. Our Chair Yoga class offers all the therapeutic benefits of a traditional practice - increased flexibility, improved circulation, and stress reduction - without the need to get up and down from the floor.Using the chair for both seated poses and standing support, we focus on gentle range of motion exercises to keep the joints supple and functional. We place special emphasis on breath work to boost energy levels and "brain-body" exercises to improve balance and coordination. This class is a welcoming, social, and supportive environment designed to help you move with more ease in your daily life.

Therapeutic Note: Perfect for those managing arthritis, chronic pain, or balance concerns, as well as anyone recovering from surgery. This class is entirely accessible and emphasizes safety and comfort above all else.

Flow and Restore

Find the perfect balance between effort and ease. This class is designed to meet you exactly were you are, offering a two-part journey to harmonize the body and mind. We begin with 30 minutes of Mindful Flow- low impact, rhythmic movements designed to lubricate joints, improve circulation, and release the physical tension of the day. Once the body is warm, we transition into 30 minutes of Deep Restore. Using supportive props, you will settle into long held, passive postures that allow the nervous system to shift from "stress mode" into "healing mode." We round out the practice with 15 minutes of breath work and meditation to quiet the mind and anchor your awareness in the present moment.

Therapeutic NoteIdeal for those managing high stress, fatigue, or chronic tension. You will leave feeling physically refreshed, mentally clear, and deeply anchored in a sense of peace.

Functional Strength Flow

True strength is about more than just muscle; it's about maintaining the independence and vitality to do what you love. Our Functional Strength Flow is a purposeful practice designed to build bone density, improve balance, and strengthen the muscles we use in every day life. Through controlled, low-impact movements and mindful transitions, we focus on stabilizing the joints and boosting metabolic health. This is "strength with soul" - giving you the resilience to stay active, capable, and confident at every age.

Therapeutic  Note: This class is specifically prioritizes joint safety and functional range of motion.

Restorative Yoga with Meditation

In a world that prizes "doing," this class is a dedicated space for "being." Restorative Yoga is a gentle, floor based practice designed to reset your nervous system and release deep-seated tension without any physical effort. Using an array of supportive props, your body is placed in positions of total comfort, allowing your muscles to relax completely and your heart rate to slow. While the body rests, we engage the mind with Guided Meditation and mindfulness techniques. This combination helps to quiet the "inner noise," reduce cortisol levels, and encourage the body's natural healing response.

Therapeutic Note: Essential practice for those managing chronic stress, insomnia, anxiety, or burnout. No yoga experience required

Slow Flow

In our Slow Flow, we trade pace for depth. This class is designed for those who want to move their bodies with intention, focusing on the seamless connection between breath and motion. Unlike a fast paced Vinyasa, we hold postures slightly longer to build steady, functional strength and allow the muscles to safely lengthen. We place heavy emphasis on transitions-moving with grace and control to improve balance and body awareness. By slowing down the rhythm, we give the nervous system time to settle, making this an ideal practice for building physical resilience while cultivating a quiet, focused mind.

Therapeutic Note:This class is a wonderful bridge for those looking to move beyond Gentle Yoga while remaining mindful of joint health. We offer plenty of modifications and use props to ensure the flow feels supportive and accessible to every body.

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa is the art of "placing with purpose." In this class, we synchronize movement with the breath to create a rhythmic, flowing practice that builds heat, improves cardiovascular health, and increases stamina. While the pace is more dynamic than our Gentle classes, the focus remains firmly on mindful alignment and joint safety. We move through a creative sequence of postures designed to build internal heat and wring out physical and mental stagnation. This class is an invitation to find your "flow state" - that sweet spot where the body moves with grace and the mind becomes quiet. You will leave feeling energized, empowered, and physically rinsed.

Therapeutic Note: While this class is more active, it is still rooted in our therapeutic approach. We offer "levels" for every pose, ensuring you can challenge your strength with compromising your joints. Recommended for those looking for a more spirited movement practice.

Warm Gentle Flow

Step into the warmth and leave the weight of the day behind. Our Warm Gentle Flow is held in a comfortable 75-80 degree room designed to help the muscles relax and the joints lubricate without the intensity of a traditional hot yoga class. This practice focuses on slow, rhythmic movements and therapeutic stretching to improve circulation and reduce systemic inflammation. We emphasize "soft" transitions and mindful breathing, allowing you to sink deeper into poses while protecting your body's boundaries. It is the ultimate practice for melting away stiffness, quieting a busy mind, and nourishing your body from the inside out.

Therapeutic Note: This class is especially beneficial for those managing arthritis, fibromyalgia, or general stiffness.  This class is accessible to all levels and is a favorite for those looking for a deeply relaxing yet productive movement experience.

Yin Yoga And Meditation

Unlike traditional yoga that targets the muscles, Yin Yoga goes deeper. This therapeutic practice focuses on the "cool" tissues of the body - the fascia, ligaments, and tendons that often tighten as we age. Through long- held, passive floor poses (typically 3-5 minutes), we apply a gentle, healthy "stress' to the connective tissues, encouraging them to hydrate and become more resilient.Combined with Mindful Meditation, this practice is a deep dive into stillness. It allows you to observe your body's sensations and the mind's patterns without judgement. You will leave with a profound sense of "space" in your joints and a quiet, centered clarity in your mind.

Therapeutic Note:Yin is a vital practice for maintaining long term mobility.
